Qualifications
I have been practising as a Counselling Psychologist since 1999. I am Chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS); and Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Therapy by the University of Oxford in 2002 having trained with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC); and in 2008 I was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Cognitive Therapy, having completed a further two years of training with OCTC specifically designed for Supervisors and Trainers of CBT. I am also Accredited as a Practitioner by the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
I carried out my Counselling Psychology training at City University, London; having obtained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University and a postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from Bristol University. In addition I have completed numerous short training courses and workshops on many aspects of psychology and psychotherapy.
